Our read
The Edge 3 Pro adds a no-glow flash, a quicker 0.30 s trigger claim and 1440p video to the Edge 3, on the same Cat 1bis radio and six-band FCC filing. On sale at $99.99 against a $139.99 regular price, it costs the same as the standard Edge 3 right now.
Its best credential is independent: it won the cellular detection category in TrailCamPro’s 2026 shootout, which scores every camera on the same 208 walk-by passes.
The catch is the same as every Moultrie: no free plan, and a band list without Band 14 or Band 71.
Bottom line: At the sale price, the pick of the Moultrie range for detection. Check the price before you buy; at $139.99 the Edge 4 Pro’s case gets stronger.
